A new Shopify store and inventory management support for New Zealand's first hairdressing wholesaler.
The Brief
Southern Salon Supplies were New Zealand's first hairdressing wholesalers, started by hairdressers for hairdressers in 1989. They carry the widest range of salon exclusive hair care products in New Zealand, including major international brands, with no minimum quantities and no minimum spend. They source all their own salon products and bring them direct to salon owners. To make all of this possible and easy to do on a digital platform, Southern Salon Supplies engaged Firebrand as their brand and Shopify partners to build their wholesale platform.
The Solution
Working with owner Jamie Copland, our team created a comprehensive new Shopify wholesale store for Southern Salon Supplies and provided support as they migrated their entire inventory into the new management system. The new wholesale website for Southern Salon Supplies sits alongside the existing Haircare Market retail website, also developed by Firebrand.
The Result
Southern Salon Supplies new Shopify website provides a responsive and customisable platform that allows them to easily manage online sales, inventory and customer communications. Shopify has provided them with opportunities to integrate with other apps like Shop Pay, abandon cart recovery functionality, personalised logins, article tracking and a complete POS system to make customer purchases and management as easy as possible.
