Kavanagh College

A fresh website for Kavanagh College to highlight school achievement and keep the community engaged.

The Brief

With a desire to showcase the achievement and activities of the school more prominently, Kavanagh College approached Firebrand for a new online presence. The College is recognised as one of Otago's leading co-educational secondary schools and has an emphasis on personal development, leadership and community awareness. In addition to keeping these unique values at the forefront, the new website needed to support staff in increasing enrolment of both local and international students.

The Solution

In creating our solution, we were able to take advantage of the Kavanagh College's recognisable brand colours and collection of stunning images to deliver a bright and engaging website. Hail is full integrated, keeping the school's stories fresh throughout the whole website. The website was developed with plenty of useful features like the homepage alert notification, making it easy for Kavanagh's staff to keep parents and students up to date with important information.

The Result

With carefully crafted stories and stunning imagery, we think our solution highlights the special character of Kavanagh College perfectly. The school's staff and students have become superstar content writers, using Hail to create and publish stories to a range of channels including the website, social media and email newsletters. We can't wait to see how Kavanagh College continues to showcase the amazing work they do through their fantastic content.

"Kavanagh College engaged Firebrand to redesign our very tired website and launch us into the 21st century using partners such as Hail. They were a friendly and patient team as we were particular about colours, our logo and what we wanted to portray. They were responsive to our issues and nothing was ever a problem. They were keen to build our capacity and once the structure was there, they taught me how to continue to modify the site, whilst always being there when I have a problem. We are thrilled with our product."
